How Calendly customers use Calendly + PayPal to get paid for their time
Thousands of consultants, freelancers, and entrepreneurs use Calendly’s payment integrations to get paid for their time. Here are just a few examples:
Sell consulting or coaching services
Professionals like financial advisors, consultants, and lawyers use Calendly’s payment integrations to book and charge for client meetings. For example, Immigration Attorney Daniel Larson schedules legal consultations via Calendly. “I've just started using these tools, and I can't believe I didn't jump on this sooner,” Daniel shared on LinkedIn. “Scheduling and payments? So easy now!”
B2B SaaS Content Writer and LinkedIn Coach Rosanna Campbell also uses Calendly’s payment and Google Calendar integrations to schedule coaching sessions.
“Calendly saves me a ridiculous amount of back-and-forth. I love that I can bill for coaching, and that it syncs with my GCal so I never miss a call.”

Turn “can I pick your brain?” into a paid meeting
When someone asks to pick your brain, they’re often looking for the same kind of insight you’d provide as a consultant, coach, or strategist. Charging a consulting rate for a brain-picking session or intro call is a simple way to get paid for the expertise you’ve spent years building.
Melinda Livsey, Brand Strategy Consultant, Educator, and Coach, recommends adding a paid consulting Event Type to your website. “Set up a page on your site where people can sign up for a consulting hour with you and charge them for it,” she says. “I love using Calendly for this. Next time someone asks you to pick your brain, you can offer them that option."

Collect deposits and booking fees ahead of appointments
When you’re running a business, no-shows can cost you time, energy, and momentum. To boost attendance, time management coach and Real Life E founder Elizabeth Grace Saunders added a booking fee to her consultation call Event Type through Calendly’s PayPal integration. “It’s a small financial commitment that signals the person is serious about showing up and ready to engage,” she explains. After adding the booking fee, Elizabeth’s attendance rate went from 75% to 100%.
“Now, prospects don’t just pick a time, they make a promise. And once that happens, Calendly takes care of the rest: confirming the meeting, sending reminders, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.”

Calendly’s not just for professional services and corporate pros. Stylists, estheticians, tattoo artists, and more also use Calendly + PayPal to schedule and collect deposits for appointments.
